Delta Family Services Receives 2024 Older Youth Services Agency of the Year Award

Delta Family Services is thrilled to announce that the youth we serve have chosen us as the recipient of the 2024 Older Youth Services Agency of the Year Award. The award was presented by the Older Youth Retreat Steering Committee, comprised of youth and alumni of the child welfare system, at the University of Pittsburgh’s Johnstown Campus in early June.

The committee selected Delta Family Services for our unwavering dedication to positively influencing the lives of older youth through our Supervised Independent Living program. Over the past 25 + years, our Delta SIL program has served over 1000 local young adults in the child welfare system. 

“Our mission has always been to empower and support young people as they transition into adulthood,” said Kerry Krieger, Delta Family Services Executive Director. “Receiving this award from the Pennsylvania Older Youth Retreat Steering Committee, particularly from the youth and alumni themselves, is an incredible honor that underscores the dedication of our staff and the impact of our programs.” 

Delta Family Services is committed to continuing our work to support these incredible young individuals and help them navigate their futures with confidence and success.
