How You can be a Foster Family
and provide a loving and supportive home to children in need.
Children need a safe and loving environment in which to grow, learn, and mature.
Delta’s Foster Families receive training and support to help them
provide a place where a child can develop loving relationships.
The Children We Serve
- Ages birth through 21 years
- Live in Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, and Philadelphia counties
- May have physical issues ranging from asthma to HIV to terminal illnesses
- May have severe behavioral issues
Our Services for Children
- General Foster Care services
- Specialized programs:
- Assigned caseworkers
- Training programs for the individual needs of each child
- Respite Care
- Annual outings and a holiday party
Our Services for Foster Families
- 60 staff members, including case managers and crisis consultants
- Support group opportunities
- Respite care
- Transportation assistance
- Mentoring of new foster families
