For many children and teenagers, a safe, stable home environment is still a distant dream. Focused on providing children and youth services, Delta’s Family Services make this dream a reality through the following core offerings:
- Foster Care
Delta offers three core Foster Care services; each innovative program provides support that goes beyond traditional foster care. Medical Foster Care and Treament Foster Care, in particular, provide expert treatment for mental and physical health challenges in Foster Care settings.
- Supervised Independent Living (SIL)
Supervised Independent Living provides support for young adults, ages 17-21, on the verge of independence. SIL members live in their own apartments, with weekly visits from Delta social workers.
- Adoption Services
Over the years, Adoption Services has placed countless children and teens in homes with nurturing families.
- Family Supports
Family Supports provides assistance as needed to those who care for a loved one with disabilities at home. Assistance includes training as well as direct support for the individual care recipient.
Our services are characterized by creative and flexible supports for children and families. Every day our agency undertakes the bold mission of uniting children with nurturing families and providing living situations for those who are old enough to begin living on their own. Simply stated, our goal is to serve the needs of children as they grow, learn, and mature in a safe and loving environment.
